Maybe it was best to leave this idea in the past. General Hospital news says that a lot of fans out there have made it clear that they are none too pleased with the Nurses Ball coming back this year.

General Hospital Critics Lash Out At 2025 Nurses Ball Plans – ‘No Class!’

It was announced earlier in the week that General Hospital will air their special 2025 Nurses Ball on May 20th. The last time that we saw a Nurses Ball in Port Charles was five years ago in 2020.

However, the timing of it all with the most current storylines just isn’t sitting well for a lot of fans out there. Some people have pointed out that the ball just consists of the same five tables with the same characters and “lame skits” that make people want to tune out rather than tune in.

It goes without saying that the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.

Some critics have even commented on this storyline with, “Really don’t care about it anymore! They used to be yearly and now it’s sporadically used when they need to fill in for a lagging storyline! Especially without Sonya Eddy, it’s just not the same!”

Another fan wrote, “Wasn’t it something the way Lucy co turned the gh memorial celebration of the cardiac care unit into a salute to Sidwell for his underwriting the nurses ball what a disgrace she has no sense or class.”

And then there was this comment as well: “No Leisl, no TJ, no Valentines, no Blaze, no Milo, no Cameron, no Felix (yesterday with Deanna and Amy). Aside from Ned and Gio, who is left to perform?”

“Anyway, it’s a kinda weird event but there is always usually something interesting that happens during these things. I hope they keep that certain mystery element.”

So far the producers of the show have not made any comments about the criticism they’ve received. Then again, General Hospital fans will have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.
