Let’s just say that regret is one of the most bitter pills to swallow. And that’s probably what Prince Harry is probably thinking to himself as there’s heavy speculation suggesting that Buckingham Palace might be preparing for the death of his father, King Charles.
As many of our loyal readers already know, King Charles was hospitalized last month due to complications stemming from his ongoing battle with cancer. As of press time, the royal family has not specified what kind of cancer the king has been diagnosed with.
But for Prince Harry, that doesn’t matter. He knows that time is a thief and that he doesn’t have much left with his father.
It’s tough enough for him to be thousands of miles away from King Charles and the rest of the royal family and knowing that his father might not have much time to live makes things even worse.
That’s why he feels as though he’s going to deal with a lot of pain and regret the moment that King Charles dies. He’s spent the last several years throwing the royal family under the bus while trying to establish himself as a royal in America.
But all of that turned out to be not worth Prince Harry’s time or effort as he’s now completely cut off from the royal family. A lot of people, like his brother Prince William, want absolutely nothing to do with him anymore.
It’s also why a lot of people think that Prince Harry’s pain over King Charles’s death will be worse than what he felt when his mother Princess Diana died when he was a young boy.
The Duke of Sussex could have spent more time with his father these last few years, but he didn’t. Now the prince is going to live with this regret knowing that things could have been significantly different and better.
So far the Duke of Sussex himself has not made any comments about the matter just yet. Watch this space for more.
