When they say that timing is everything, certainly believe it. There’s heavy speculation suggesting King Charles’ death might destroy all the hard work that Meghan Markle has put in this past year.

That’s because no one is going to pay attention to her lifestyle brand when all of the focus is going to be on King Charles and the British royal family back in the UK.

In fact, if the Duchess of Sussex continues to promote her brand during the royal family’s grieving period, it’s going to make her look like a highly insensitive person.

But then again, this isn’t the first time that it’s happened. Back in March 2014, Meghan introduced her lifestyle brand for the first time, but under the name American Riviera Orchard.

During that same time, Kate Middleton had announced that she was diagnosed with cancer. For Meghan, this was absolutely devastating. 

She had to slam on the breaks during her promotional tour because there was no way that she could promote it while her sister-in-law was dealing with the biggest health battle she’s ever had in her life.

Well, fast-forward to the present time, and it looks like the Duchess of Sussex is in the same situation now. It was just reported that King Charles was hospitalized due to complications from his ongoing cancer battle.

Should the palace announce King Charles’s death, Meghan will have to press the pause button on her newly-named As Ever brand. Not only that, but she will also be forced to say something about the passing of her father-in-law, even though she hasn’t spoken to him in months and if not years.

Royal Family News: What’s Next For The Duchess Of Sussex?

As much as Meghan Markle is trying to be a celebrity influencer, it looks like something is always getting in her way from making that happen. You can take the girl out of the royal family, but you can’t take the royal family out of the girl.

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet. Watch this space for more.
