That’s because during the latest episode of the hit ABC soap, it almost seemed like Chase had finally dropped the nice guy act in order to put Lulu in her place.

After seeing the way he coddled Willow and how he arrested Tracy on those assault charges, a lot of fans weren’t sure where the character was headed. But it seems like he’s finally managed to find the courage to stand up to Lulu and tell her the quiet part out loud.

As you can imagine, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.

Some General Hospital fans have even taken to social media to write, “LOVED Chase standing up to Lulu!!! It’s about time someone put her in her place and stopped coddling her. It was wonderful seeing someone tell her it wasn’t her place and to see her way out of it.”“Some may disagree with his threat about taking her in for breaking and entering, but I loved it! Its spot on, she only knows about the baby because she broke in and read private files she had no business accessing.”

Another fan wrote, “To be fair Chase always showed this side of him when anyone is harassing Brook Lynn.. He punched out Valentin and Linc nearly lost his job because of it. He pretended to be Bailey’s father. Even Gregory, his father, said to Tracy he‘s willing to bend the rules for Brook Lynn.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Willow deserves that treatment far more than Lulu. How does he have the energy to bring his wrath on Lulu but Willow can make a you-know-what out of him behind his back?”

“He forgives her for cheating on him and he forgives her when she cheats again Lulu at least just stumbled on to Brooklyn secret but Willow actively humiliated Chase make that make sense.”
