There’s only so much that everyone can take. The Bold and the Beautiful fans are making it pretty clear that they would rather tune out than tune in to the hit CBS soap just because they are over all of the less-than-bold storylines. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Is B&B going downhill? That’s what a lot of people seem to be saying these days. They just aren’t happy with the way the writers seem to be recycling old storylines every few seasons.
As you can imagine, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the show and how they feel about the current storylines and how some of the characters are being treated by the writers.
Some fans even wrote on social media, “It’s crazy that this show is still on. Brooke disgusts me, Carter pisses me off and Ridge is just nothing more than a cardboard cutout just standing and not saying a word like a Neanderthal. Not to mention these stories are all the same ole shit. This show is a f’ing joke!”
Another critic worte, “I gotta say: I think i’m done. This crap is unwatchable. Steffy being the abomination she is and continually winning says everything about this stinking cesspool of bad writing.”
And then there was this comment as well: “They keep mistreating the true likeable character in Hope consistently and constantly, it’s getting absurd.”
“I guess the point is to make her a heel but honestly she shouldn’t be. She’s been harassed, cheated on, mistreated, and used like a fiddle for years now and it’s getting silly. I did enjoy seeing her get all pissed off Monday but honestly it shouldn’t have taken this long.”
Now, whether or not any of the storylines change or if the producers will take the show in a different direction with their writing remains to be seen.
So far B&B Executive Producer and Head Writer Bradley Bell has made no comments about the matter just yet.

I’ve been saying the same for a while now…spice up the show or take it off the air! These same stories have circled back way too many times & we need more characters like Quinn, she kept the show interesting & exciting. Now, nothing and the way Hope is being treated, Luna was pardoned? Really?? Finn is her father? The list goes on and on… done with wasting my time! I use to look forward to watching but now I mostly speed through the shows, nothing to see here really
The show dwells on the same old things for days. So boring. Nobody can be happy for a minute on this show.
