General Hospital fans have all been wondering the same thing: was it even a good idea to have Lucky and Liz get back together again after so many years? That’s because at this point it almost seems as though they’ve fizzled out.

In fact, some fans agree that while everyone loved them while they were a power couple back in the late 90s, things have changed. Not only that, but circumstances have changed, too.

While some of that initial chemistry still seems to be there, the spark between Lucky and Liz seems to have faded away in 2025.

As you can imagine, the internet had a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “I want them together but I also want them in a better story. What they’re doing with them now isn’t much of one.”

Another fan wrote, “I like it, but I’m not picky. Liz has chem with Lucky, Ric and Jason. If they don’t want to retread, a new guy could work too. Liz is a solid romantic interest.”

“Just give us some spark. Let it last for a bit before destroying it. I generally prefer relationships that don’t have too much conflict up front. I hate the couples that they drag out getting together with the most ridiculous fights. It’s okay if they’re uncertain early on, but don’t kill the romance with nonsense and boredom.”

And then there was this comment as well: “In the real world is reuniting with the man who disappeared on his kid for years, has a case of the Luke Spencer wanderlust, a good idea?
