That’s because there are rumors swirling on social media that the character’s portrayer, Scott Clifton, might be leaving the show. He might even have one foot out the door.

For a lot of B&B fans, they wouldn’t be surprised at all. Even though both Liam Spencer and his love rival Thomas Forrester (played by Matthew Atkinson) were both major staple on the show, they haven’t had a storyline for a very long time.

In fact, both seem to be missing from the show and it doens’t seem like a lot of people have noticed. Not only that, but The Bold and the Beautiuful fans have also made it clear that they are tired of all the same love triangles that include Liam, Thomas, Steffy and Hope. It’s time for something new.

That’s why other male characters have been taking center stage, including Carter Walton. Even though he is currently involved in a little love triangle of his own with Hope and Daphne, fans are welcoming these new pairings as it’s a much-needed breath of fresh are on the show.

Now, as far as whether or not we will be seeing Liam Spencer back on the show anytime soon, remains to be seen. So far the producers of The Bold and the Beautiful have not made any comments about the matter, nor have they said anything about the status of Scott Clifton’s contract.
