Sometimes you just have to say the quiet part out loud. General Hosptial spoilers heavily speculate that there might be another reason why Jason is so obsessed with making sure that Carly keeps her distance away from Brennan.
And tha’ts not just because he is worried about her safety. It’s also because there’s a very good chance that he might be deeply in love with the beautiful blonde. After all, they did have some insane chemistry between them a few years ago.
During the latest episode of General Hospital, Jason ordered Carly to stay away from Brennan after she was accidentally poisoned by the tainted champagne that was clearly meant for him.
While there has been some speculation suggesting that Jason might be in love with Sasha and that’s why he’s been so willing to cover up for her and help her raise her unborn baby, that might not be the case at all.
Instead, he wants to protect Michael Corinthos because he has a deep sense of loyalty towards the Corinthos family and of course, Carly. He wants to do everything to protect that child because it’s Carly’s grandchild, and not just because it’s Sasha’s baby.
Plus, he’s now getting involved in the whole Brennan debacle. It’s not like he has to, but Jason cares enough for Carly that he’s willing to put his life on the line for her.
Should Jason and Carly ever get back together again, it wouldn’t surprise fans at all. After all, they did have insane chemistry together the first time around. And if there’s anything that we’ve learned about life in Port Charles, it’s to always expect the unexpected. Watch this space for more.
