It looks like someone is moving on up! We’ve got great news for the daytime television community as there’s a new report that says a Days of Our Lives star just got a primetime offer. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

This Days Of Our Lives Star Just Landed A Primtime Comedy

According to the latest reports, Days of Our Lives actress Precious Way (who used to play Chanel on the soap) has signed on to star in a new NBC pilot with Tracy Morgan. How exciting!

If that weren’t enough, it looks like this new comedy is going to be spearheaded by some of the most talented people in the entertainment industry including 30 Rocks’ Tina Fey and Robert Carlock along with Sam Means.

The pilot, which still doesn’t have a name, is about an ex-football icon named Reggie who is trying to improve his image after being disgraced by a scandal. Precious Way will be playing a character by the name of Brine, who is Reggie’s fiance.

She comes up with an idea to have someone film a documentary about his life in the hopes that it will help make him a star again. That, and she also wants to be in the spotlight, too. Daniel Radcliffe plays Arthur Tobin, the person who is going to supposedly help her make that happen.

If that weren’t enough, actress Erika Alexander also plays Monica, Reggie’s childhood sweetheart and ex-wife who remains his agent and business partner. There’s a very good chance that the two women are going to clash.

Many DOOL fans were very happy to hear about this announcement. Many of them even took to social media to write comments such as, “I LOVED her as the first Chanel. Very talented and pretty girl,” along with, “She definitely had the it factor! I wonder how good her and Johnny could ve been if she were still in the role!”

Days of Our Lives airs on the Peacock streaming network.
