General Hosptial spoilers say that Anna is going to get the boot for doing this. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
As many General Hospital fans are aware of, Anna aided in Valentin’s escape again, which is prompting many fans to believe that it’s time for her to resign as Police Commissioner.
In fact, aiding and abetting a known fugitive is grounds for dismissal. That’s what a lot of people think that Mac should be put back in charge. But whether or not that’s actually going to happen, remains to be seen.
For now, General Hospital fans agree that Anna needs to get fired for what she had done. It goes without saying that the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.
Some even commented with, “They should have made her the PI when Sam died. Anna has grit and she knows her way around both sides of the law from her own experience with the DVX also. She doesn’t suit police commissioner anymore.”
Another fan wrote, “Frankly the whole police department should be disbanded. They never put any actual criminals in jail. Think of the money the town would save.”
“She pushes Sonny calls him a bastard but that’s ok! Tracy barely touches the inspector and is arrest for assault. She’s needs to retire ! Overstayed character.”
“Absolutely Fired ! She is no different than Sonny, Jason.. a gangster with a badge.”
And then there was this comment as well: ““Well in this scenario I agree with her actions. How is what Sonny and Jack about to do to Valentin any different from his previous actions? Valentin has hardly been on in months. How is that being a gem to the cast?”

Anna is the best actress on GH. She is an invaluable character and now she has arrested Valentine and there should be no more reason for people to doubt her. Unlike other soaps, GH “criminals”, including the Spencers, are not in the Mob. They are complicated people who do things outside the law most often because it is the just thing to do. Meanwhile, all the wealthy “ good” people in all the soaps have lied and schemed and had family fights that rival the worse values of anybody in town. The Quartermaine’s best characters have been the ones who bend and break laws for the right reasons. In other soaps it is all boring greed and macho competition as opposed to characters who grow and change and who have codes by which they live.
