Earlier in the week, there was some speculation suggesting that Cherie had one foot out the door in this fictional town of Salem. Thankfully, she set the record straight.

The actress took to her X (formerly Twitter) account to write, “I guess there’s a rumor going around that I’m leaving Dool & so I just wanted to squash that right now by letting y’all know I’m not going anywhere. I love playing Gabi & everyone at #Days.”

So, there you have it, folks. Of course, the internet had a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “We love you on Dool! You’re an incredible actress and I’m very glad to hear you’re staying.”

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: What’s Next For Gabi?

Another fan wrote, “Good to hear!! I need more Gabi and JJ back in my life and eventually Brandon Barash as Stefan back to interrupt their wedding!”
