It looks like he might have gone where the money is. And who can blame him, right? There’s heavy speculation suggesting Jon Lindstrom might have left his work on General Hospital behind for greener fields on the new CBS hit soap, Beyond The Gates.

And that’s not because he doesn’t like the work that he’s done in Port Charles or the people that he’s worked with.

Instead, there’s a lot of speculation suggesting that Jon Lindstrom might have made the switch from General Hospital to Beyond The Gates for better pay.

That certainly won’t surprise anyone seeing how Beyond The Gates has quite the budget seeing how they have a very lavish and up-to-date set. Not only that, but they haven’t been cheap in the wardrobe department for their characters either and it shows.

It’s not very often that you see a huge soap star like Jon Lindstrom leave a comfortable position on a daytime television show like General Hospital unless he felt like he was being pushed out the door. 

That, or he simply saw a better opportunity with Beyond The Gates and grabbed it before anyone else could. His decision seemed to be the right one not only for himself, but for his soap audience, too.

Now, whether or not Jon Lindstrom does end up coming back to General Hospital remains to be seen. There’s always a chance that he could easily juggle both soaps for as long as he can travel to Atlanta when needed and film in Los Angeles during his regularly scheduled days.
