General Hospital Spoilers suggest Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) had no idea how much she was inserting her foot into her mouth when she smiled at Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and told her she needed her to find whoever killed Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) so she could thank them.

That was a bold statement coming from the former wife of a renowned crime boss who had plenty of motive to kill Cyrus. Of course, Carly has no idea that the person who really killed them is even closer to her heart than Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

How long until Carly learns her own daughter, Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy), pulled the trigger and instinctively moved to cover it up instead of calling the police?

Carly didn’t waste any time showing up to make sure her homeboy, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), wasn’t in over his head. She’s one of the last people he would call for help, because the exact way Carly helps isn’t always welcome.

But this time around, he may end up being glad she was there. Nevertheless, Carly meant it when she told Anna she wanted to thank the person who killed Cyrus.

Those words left her lips effortlessly, but she may end up cringing at the thought when the truth hits so close to home.

Carly was immediately surprised to hear that Jason was any kind of suspect in Cyrus’ murder, but she has clearly been out of the loop lately.

Maybe she’s been too wrapped up in her current entanglement with WSB Chief Jack Brennan (Chris Mckenna) to pay attention to what is going on in the rest of her metropolitan town.

Given how many enemies Cyrus made, and the fact that Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) loved ones were just informed that he killed her, it stands to reason that there are many potential suspects. We just know that Joss is the last one on her list!
