Apparently, there’s a lot of chatter among daytime television fans suggesting that Victoria Rowell might be back on the canvas. But instead of heading back to Genoa City, she might make her way to the fictional town of Atlanta instead where Beyond The Gates is now based.
Of course, this would be huge news for soap fans as they haven’t seen Victoria in front of the camera in years. She’s also still got a huge fan base that would do anything to help her return to the world of soaps, even if it’s just for a short term basis.
As a matter of fact, the discussion really began when one soap fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “Let’s not forget @victoriarowell fought for diversity at #yr which is why she asked to be released from her contract as Drucilla Winters #BeyondTheGates is the outcome of what she wanted back then. Thank you Ms. Rowell.”
Victoria Rowell herself even commented on the matter with, “Thank YOU for recognizing my long campaign for a CBS Black produced, directed, written w/all star cast.”
And then another fan replied with, “Absolutely ma’am I’m a huge fan of all the work you put in not only for diversity but for the world of daytime as well.”
“It was a huge loss for so many of us when you decided to leave in 07 but we know it’s what you had to do to bring change and now we see it. Thank you.”

Personally I thought she would be back on Y&R since they never found her body. I assumed that roll was left open for a return.
