Fans have a reason to feel both concerned and disturbed by Alec Baldwin and his most recent comments about his mental health.
The actor recently admitted that he has been diagnosed with PTSD and that he can’t help but feel happier when he’s asleep.
Back in 2023, Baldwin was charged with involuntary manslaughter for the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of Rust back in 2021.
Hutchins was shot and killed by Baldwin on the set of the movie, even though the actor maintains that he never pulled the trigger.
During his new TLC show with his wife Hilaria Baldwin, the actor told her, “I said, ‘I’m happier when I’m asleep than when I’m awake.”
“I always feel more in pain about you than me, because I think to myself, well, you know, I’m going to try to my best to just get through it, and I think what it’s done to you and how much it’s hurt you and everything.”
Baldwin added, “This past year was just terrible. There were times I’d lay in bed, I’d go, ‘Wow, my kids. I can’t get up.’ That’s not like me. I’m not like that at all, not in any way am I like that. Never.”
Back in December, Baldwin’s manslaughter case officially came to an end, as special prosecutor Kari Morrissey announced her decision to drop the appeal against the judge’s dismissal.
This conclusion follows the state attorney general’s office declaring it had no plans to aggressively pursue the appeal on the prosecution’s behalf.
One of the counts is for involuntary manslaughter, in which prosecutors will have to prove there is underlying negligence. The other charge is involuntary manslaughter in the commission of a lawful act.
So far Alec Baldwin has not made any additional comments about the matter but we will definitely update you with all of the latest details as they come in.

He gets away with the crime and yes it was a crime especially when you lie under oath, sorry guns do not just go off, while that poor young girl sits in a cell! Sometimes money does talk!! I've never been able to stand that man after the way he berated his then 11 year old daughter Ireland on voicemail! DISGUSTING! If you've never heard it, look it up!
