Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) scores in his bid for info and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) isn’t ready to give up on Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Here’s what to know.

Summer can’t get ahold of mama bear Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and that concerns her. When does Phyllis ever blow off her kids, let alone miss a planned meal she herself arranged?

Savvy Summer is worried and she decides to kill two birds with one stone by telling Kyle about Phyllis’ nonappearance. Also present is Claire Newman (Hayley Erin), her love rival.

Big Meet up at Crimson Lights

Summer is playing mind games, by having Kyle coo over her dilemma. This is beneath a strong professional woman like Summer, but you know what they say, all’s fair in love and war.

At one point the convo switches to how Victor is rejecting Klaire’s romance. Summer can’t help but marvel how Victor accepted her with Kyle, but not with Claire. Summer tries to be practical with the couple, but she’s really gloating. Me-ow.

Summer is a Damsel in Distress

Spoiler alert: during the Friday episode, Kyle tests Claire’s loyalty. We’re not sure how we feel about this …

Will Kyle mention Victor’s latest ploy to ruin his family, and probe Claire for details? Really, how is this romance going to work when both parties are on opposite sides of the GC war of the worlds?

At the same time, wily Victor goes fishing for info on mysterious Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers). Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) asked him to get some intel on Damian and Victor agreed. It was the least he could do after baiting and switching her out of a job.

Victor ultimately gets Damian’s number and it’s wise of Lily to suspect him. Damian is attracted to her, so this situation promises to be a messy one as he’s also Nate Winters’ (Sean Dominic) brother.

Damian Likes Lily

Lily told Damian she may go out with him IF he patches things up with this dying mom, Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) and this proves to be the motivation he needs.
