The Bold and the Beautiful fans have made it pretty clear: they are not a fan of this miscast at all.
Of course, everyone knows who we are talking about: Rebecca Budig as Taylor Hayes. Not only does she look similar in age to her daughter, Steffy Forrester, but a lot of people think that she’s misrepresenting the character a lot.
That’s because the calm and cool Taylor that was actually a good person is anything but that nowadays. Many B&B fans sure did take to social media to weigh in on the matter.
Some of them even wrote comments such as, “Rebecca Budig is a total miscast IMO. She’s a good actress. I enjoyed her as Hayden on GH – most of the times. But in this role, she feels totally misplaced. Scenes between Taylor and Steffy nowadays are like watching sisters bitch about a rival.”
Another critic wrote, “Not to mention it’s a hard contrast to Krista Allen’s version. I believed her Taylor when it comes to the complicated history with Brooke. She had chemistry with Thorsten Kaye – but maybe eben the better chemistry with KKL.”
“I don’t know why she was let go. If it’s just that in that moment Brad Bell didn’t know what to write for the character or if he was bothered by the KA/KKL chemistry so much that he chose the reset button very intentionally.”
And then there was this comment as well: “And yes, I would even take Hunter Tylo back as Taylor. Even though I didn’t get and wasn’t a fan of her Michelle-Stafford-ways-of-overacting in recent years.”
It goes without saying that The Bold and the Beautiful fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.

This Taylor needs replaced. She might be a good actress, but not being Taylor on this show B & B.
This is the worse person to become Taylor since I started watching the B @ B from almost the beginning.
