General Hospital’s Maurice Benard Says Kelly Monaco Has ‘A Lot On Her Plate’

We finally have the update that we’ve all been waiting for. Of course, we are talking about former General Hospital star Kelly Monaco. General Hospital’s Maurice Benard Says Kelly Monaco Has ‘A Lot On Her Plate’

As many of our loyal readers are already aware of, Kelly was unceremoniously fired from the hit ABC soap late last summer. To this very day, the producers of the show have not made any comments as to why she was let go in the way that she was.

If that weren’t enough, a lot of people had assumed that Kelly would have found another acting job by now. But sadly, she’s not on any other daytime television shows, nor has she gotten any offers for primetime, either.

But her former co-star Maurice Benard did give a little hint as to what she’s been up to. A lot of fans have been asking Maurice whether or not he would be interested in having Kelly on his YouTube series, State of Mind.

Mauriuce wrote, “Keep asking to have Kelly Monaco on @mbstateofmind I have asked people to do things when they’re ready. I’m not one to push. I would imagine she has much more important things on her plate.”

So, what does that exactly mean? Clearly, Kelly does have a lot going on in her life right now and is not ready to talk about some heavy topics that she would most likely discuss with Maurice on camera. That shouldn’t surprise anyone, seeing how Kelly is a rather private person herself, too.

General Hospital News: What’s Next For Kelly Monaco?

So far Kelly herself has not made any comments about the matter. But whether or not she is actually going to show up on Maurice’s show remains to be seen. Until that happens, we will definitely keep our fingers crossed.
