Is Rebecca Herbst leaving the show? That’s what a lot of General Hospital fans want to know. There’s speculation that her time might be coming to an end, just because of the current storyline and the potential showdown that might happen between Cyrus and Elizabeth.

After all, Cyrus did kill Sam McCall and a lot of people believe that he might do it again with Elizabeth. That is, unless she manages to outsmart him and his tactics, which she seems to be on pace with doing right now.

Then again, this isn’t the first time that there have been rumors about Rebecca possibly leaving the show. The first time that it happened was back in 2011 but there was so much backlash to the decision that Rebecca immediately came back to the soap.

Back in 2022, there were also rumors suggesting Rebecca was leaving the show. But she had to take to social media to set the record straight and told everyone that she was not fired, that she didn’t go on vacation and that she wasn’t sick, either. She just didn’t have a storyline at the time.
