While no one really knows what’s going on behind closed doors or if she is ever planning on being in front of a camera again, one thing is certain for General Hospital’s former star Kelly Monaco: she certainly has lost out on a huge opportunity. As many of our loyal readers are already aware of, Kelly was let go from General Hospital late last summer despite the fact that she was on the hit ABC soap for well over 20 years.
Well, it’s been several months since Kelly was last seen on the small screen and a lot of people of course want to know what she’s been up to and if she will ever return to acting.
Some people think that she might have lost on a huge opportunity by not joining the cast of the new CBS soap, Beyond The Gates.
That’s because Beyond the Gates is going to air during the same time as General Hospital. That would have been a great chance for Kelly to have gotten her revenge on those who did her wrong over at ABC, right?
There’s no doubt that her loyal General Hospital fans would have abandoned Port Charles almost immediately to see what she would have been up to on Beyond The Gates. Plus, it’s the hottest soap in daytime television right now.
Some people think that the move would have killed General Hospital’s ratings altogether. After all, Kelly has the most loyal fans in soaps. With that said, no one knows if Kelly will ever go back to acting or if she’s just waiting for a better offer to come in.

I honestly don't know why these articles keep saying that General Hospital and Beyond the Gates airs at the same time. Well, that's COMPLETELY WRONG FOLKS! General Hospital airs @ 3PM where I live: New Jersey. So. Please stop saying that they air at the same time, when they OBVIOUSLY DON'T!! And, even if they did, I am GH faithful my friends, I would NEVER watch any other soap opera, EVER!
I agree with not watching another soap as I can only stand but so much nonsense daily and since I am a long time viewer of GH, it will continue to be my only soap. The writer of this article and many other spoiler articles can't seem to get their predictions or story line information right to even be called spoilers. As to KM joining the cast of BTG, who said she wanted to be a cast member or if the BTG PTB wanted her to join their soap. So tired of spoiler sites providing inaccurate information that cause some viewers to begin rumors.

Beyond the Gates is going to be on at 2PM not the same time as General Hospital. 3PM
GH is on at 1:00 pm where I live in Illinois.
