General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, February 19 tease tensions building, hearts opening, and dangerous drop-ins!

Tensions build at the Savoy when Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) spots Drew Quartermaine, (Cameron Mathison) Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) opens his heart, and a dangerous drop-in visitor alarms Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst)!

Tensions Building

Curtis and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) are enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of Curtis’ extravagant Valentine’s Day celebration at the Savoy when he catches sight of Drew in the crowd.

Frustrated, he turns to Portia, expressing his concern that Drew’s presence could spoil their night. Lately, it seems Drew has a knack for creating chaos wherever he goes, and unfortunately, it often affects those around him.

Will Curtis decide to unleash his bouncers to remove Drew from the haven of his club? Or will he choose to ride the wave and hope that Drew doesn’t wreak havoc on their special evening?

Exes Talk Exits?

Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) remain seated at their table in the club, Lucas reeling from the fallout of Damian Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) ill-fated matchmaking attempt.

While it was Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) who ultimately set Lucas up with a date, Spinelli played a role in the process, and it clearly didn’t pan out as hoped.

Lucas confessed that he hadn’t been on a date since his divorce, and after a brief conversation, the guy suggested he reach out to Maxie for his number before making his exit.

Now, Brad is expressing his disapproval, insisting that the situation is fundamentally flawed on multiple levels, perhaps suspecting that Lucas’s date has ghosted him.

This is Brad’s perception of  the mishap surrounding his ex’s Valentine’s outing, and him trying to empathize without knowing the whole story!

Frustration At Bobbie’s

At Bobbie’s, frustration simmers as Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) confronts Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner). Josslyn’s irritation is palpable as she questions how Emma’s plans actually benefit her.

Emma is likely trying to rope Josslyn into her charity event aimed at saving animals, particularly bunnies, and she’s even enlisted Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) to provide the music!

While Josslyn has nothing against bunnies, Emma’s relentless enthusiasm is becoming a nuisance. Josslyn has more pressing matters to attend to, and Emma is standing in her way!

Hearts Opening

Chase is with  Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), who is urging his friend to share what’s on his mind-Dante reassures him, saying, “Whatever it is, man, you can confide in me!”

Chase has just finished performing a heartfelt song at the club, a tribute to his wife, Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton).

The source of Chase’s distress likely revolves around his inability to conceive a child with Brook Lynn.  Dante can empathize—having faced his own struggles with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) not being able to carry a child, leading them to have Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) via surrogate.

But Chase and Brook Lynn’s situation feels even more daunting-they are faced with the prospect of finding a sperm donor, a thought that weighs heavily on Chase’s heart.

Arguing Her Way Out Of A Job?

Lulu’s role as Brook Lynn’s assistant at Deception Cosmetics seems to be unraveling quickly. In the office, Lulu is actually reprimanding Brook Lynn!

Her contention, “You can tell me—if you’re not getting what you want, it’s on you!” certainly isn’t doing her any favors. While it’s understandable that an employee might need more clarity on their supervisor’s directives to perform effectively, raising one’s voice at the boss is decidedly counterproductive.

Such behavior typically leads to conflict, and in some cases, it can result in disciplinary actions or even termination, aptly termed insubordination.

Dangerous Drop-Ins!

A shadow looms over Elizabeth’s doorstep as Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) arrives just moments after Lucky Spencer (temporarily Guy Wilson) departs! Elizabeth, expecting a friendly visit for the forgotten slice of cake, is instead met with Cyrus’s chilling glare.

He refuses to back down, informing the anxious Elizabeth that this is an urgent matter—she’s alone at home, and he holds a syringe filled with digitalis!

 Will Lucky notice the impending threat in time to intervene, or is something sinister about to unfold? Or will someone else happen by to save the day-Jason Morgan, (Steve Burton) for instance?
