General Hospital Spoilers: Kevin Collins Getting Recast

The internet is buzzing that the producers of General Hospital might soon be recasting the character of Kevin Collins.

Kevin is played by actor Jon Lindstrom, but seeing how he’s signed up to star in the new CBS soap Beyond the Gates, a lot of people think that he might soon announce that he’s leaving General Hospital for good.

One of the reasons for this is because Beyond the Gates films in Atlanta while General Hospital films in Los Angeles. While viewers don’t really see Kevin Collins on the canvas very often, it would be hard for Jon to split his time between the East Coast and the West Coast, and especially if his new character on Beyond the Gates is given a prominent storyline.

Seeing how General Hospital does recasts all the time, there’s a good chance that they might just find another actor to fill in his shoes.

Plus, it’s also been noted that Beyond The Gates is going to give General Hospital some serious competition in the ratings department. Both will air during the 2pm time slot for their networks. 

Now, that’s only if the new CBS soap will survive beyond it’s first season. So far there has been very little promo available for the soap.
