There’s heavy speculation that suggests Jon might be the actor that has left the show, but no announcement has been made about his departure. 

But seeing how General Hospital films in Los Angeles and Beyond the Gates is in Atlanta, it would be almost impossible for him to work on both soaps at the same time, and especially if his character is given a substantial storyline.

Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.

Some fans and critics even commented on social media, “Jon Lindstrom hasn’t had a good storyline since Ryan was killed. They have underused him. Jon is a great actor and deserves better. It doesn’t surprise me he went to another soap.”
