General Hospital news says that a lot of people are wondering the same thing right about now: what is going on with Jon Lindstrom and is he still a part of the cast of the hit ABC soap? Here’s what we know.
It was reported late last week that Jon has joined the new CBS soap Beyond the Gates, which has been filming in Atlanta. That might be the reason why fans haven’t seen him on the canvas for a very long time as his character, Kevin Collins.
There’s heavy speculation that suggests Jon might be the actor that has left the show, but no announcement has been made about his departure.
But seeing how General Hospital films in Los Angeles and Beyond the Gates is in Atlanta, it would be almost impossible for him to work on both soaps at the same time, and especially if his character is given a substantial storyline.
Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.
Some fans and critics even commented on social media, “Jon Lindstrom hasn’t had a good storyline since Ryan was killed. They have underused him. Jon is a great actor and deserves better. It doesn’t surprise me he went to another soap.”
“GH keeps getting new actors but doesn’t utilize the current actors. I am an avid GH fan and hope GH stays on.”
Another critic wrote, “I’m concerned about the future of GH. It’s been declining for several years. I will not be watching the new soap but I am glad Lindstrom has left GH. Never have been a fan.”
“Valentine and writers need to step up and pay attention to the fans comments concerning the complaints about the show.”
So far Jon Lindstrom himself has not made any comments about the matter but we will definitely update you with all of the latest details the moment they come in. Watch this space for more.
It goes without saying that General Hospital fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.
