That’s what a lot of fans and critics on both sides of the aisle can’t help but wonder as there’s heavy speculation suggesting Kamala Harris and Doug Emhoff are getting ready to pull the plug on their marriage.

Kamala’s husband Doug Emhoff sure didn’t help the rumors at all when he posted a photo of himself alongside his daughter, Ella Emhoff, in New York City.

It’s been reported that Doug accepted a job offer in the Big Apple while Kamala is looking to make the move back to California. With the two of them living in different states, that can only mean that they are getting ready to sign those divorce papers, right? Well, at least that’s what the internet believes.

Some have even commented on the matter with, “There is something fishy going on here. You can’t sustain a marriage when you are living on opposite coasts of the country. Plus Doug always looks so much happier whenever he’s not around Kamala.”

Another critic wrote, “Are the two of them getting a divorce? It’s very telling that Doug wants to live in New York City while Kamala wants to go back home to California. Something is up and I think it’s only a matter of time before they make their separation announcement.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Ya know, I was going to rant about everybody having a bad pic and to leave her alone. She didn’t ask to be in the public eye. Then I noticed she was taking the selfie, so she posted it.”
