This is not the way that it was supposed to be. Apparently, Meghan Markle was none too pleased over the fact that Sarah Ferguson was invited to spend Christmas with the royal family at Sandringham last year while the whole world knows that both she and Prince Harry were just itching to be there themselves.
Unfortunately, Harry and Meghan never received the invite that they so desperately wanted yet Sarah and her husband, the very controversial Prince Andrew, were there.
There’s been a lot of speculation suggesting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex want to repair things with the royal family before it’s too late.
The past twelve months haven’t been very good for Harry and Meghan as their multiple interviews and Harry’s tell-all book, Spare, has done nothing but deepen the rift between them and the royal family.
Not only that, but the couple has also lost millions in contract deals that have gone wrong as it seems like there are less and less people out there who actually want to work with them.
To make things even worse, there’s no doubt that the Duchess of Sussex was none too pleased when she saw Sarah Ferguson walking from Sandringham to church on Christmas morning with the rest of the royal family.
That’s because it was supposed to be Harry and Meghan walking to church with the rest of the family, and not Prince Andrew and his ex-wife. For the Duchess of Sussex, this definitely feels like a personal sting.
King Charles would rather have his wayward brother join the family for Christmas and not his son and American wife.
Of course, Harry and Meghan have not made any comments about the matter but the fact that they weren’t even in the UK does speak for itself, according to many royal critics.
