Sometimes you think you know everything there is to know about your favorite daytime television star until you realize there’s so much that you probably don’t even know about them.
This time around we are talking about General Hospital star Anthony Geary, who was once best known for his role as Luke Spencer on the hit ABC soap.
He managed to shock fans once again by sharing a photo of himself alongside his partner as they just celebrated their wedding anniversary. But here’s the thing: there are few people that even knew he was married!
Anthony has been living in Amsterdam full-time for years now. He and his husband Claudio Gama just celebrated their six year anniversary. How exciting!
The last time that we heard from Anthony was back in 2024. While it’s certainly been a very long time since Anthony has been on the canvas (seeing how his character Luke is presumed to be dead), it doesn’t seem like the actor is in a hurry to return to the entertainment industry anytime soon. And why would he? He’s definitely living his best life in Europe.
One fan shared a photo of Anthony enjoying a meal in his Amsterdam apartment and captioned it with, “Anthony Geary on today. He is a Soap Legend. He deserves the love and respect from every Soap Fan Goodnight.”
Of course, many fans commented with, “He was the best. I miss him on GH. No matter what material they gave him, he made it work. I assume this is in Amsterdam. Retiring and moving to Amsterdam is a very Luke Spencer move,” along with, “I love the fact that he’s over there in Amsterdam living his best life while minding his own business. He earned it! Anthony Geary was the best.”
Another fan wrote, “I wish he would have done a short cameo on the GH 60th anniversary.. Miss him! I just want to know that Luke is not dead. He doesn’t have to make an appearance. But this is a great picture of Anthony and I wish him all the best.”

Loved the days of General Hospital when Tony was on. Been watching forever and miss the way stories were written. I hope at some point the writers reveal Luke is nit really dead. He doesn't have to make an appearance just give the fans that. Wish him all the best of everything.
