Is everything okay with one of our favorite legendary The Young and the Restless stars? That’s what a lot of fans and critics can’t help but wonder as it seems like Doug Davidson (ex-Paul Williams) is appearing to be more angry and perhaps even ‘depressed’ as the days go by.

As many of our readers can recall, Doug had a hard time renegotiating his contract with the hit CBS soap. Since then, he hasn’t managed to find any work in the daytime television industry. Instead, it seems like he’s been spending a lot of time on social media, which has fans quite concerned.

Just recently, Doug had something to say when one his fans wrote, “We know Trump is going to “F#%^ up at some point You can count on that. He proved it the last time. That is why he did not get re-elected. Same thing will happen again. We will know it.”

That’s when he commented with, “You should sit down before you embarrass yourself further. The corrupt politicians are being exposed.”

Clearly, this is not the same Doug Davidson that a lot of fans used to know and love. But then again, a lot of people think that Doug needs to go back to the one place that he belongs, and that’s in front of the cameras.

Paul Williams could be used in Genoa City much more than Doug on social media arguing with critics that don’t share his same political beliefs, right? We sure know that his fans would love to see him back on the canvas.
