Could there be a chance that he’s coming back? That’s what a lot of General Hospital fans can’t help but wonder as there’s strong speculation that Brandon Barash might be coming back to Port Charles to reprise his role as Johnny Zacchara.
The actor was left quite disappointed when he found out that his contract was not being renewed at Days of Our Lives. He first landed the role of Stefan DiMera several years ago when he had to step in for actor Tyler Christopher at the time.
What was supposed to be a short stint ended up being a long one for Brandon as Salem soon became his new home away from home. However, something must have happened behind closed doors because both the actor and his DOOL fans were shocked to find out that he has been given the pink slip.
But now that he’s looking for a new place to call home, there’s a good chance that Brandon might be making his way back to Port Charles. There’s no doubt that General Hospital would welcome him with open arms.
That, and the hit ABC soap loves to give their audience the biggest surprises. More often than not, they like to bring back characters from the past. Seeing how fans would love to see Brandon back on the canvas, there’s a good chance that the producers of the show are trying to negotiate a contract to make it happen. It would be the spoiler of the year!
So far Brandon Barash himself has not made any comments about the matter but we will update you with all of the latest details the moment they come in.
Needless to say, General Hospital fans will simply have to tune in to find out what will happen next.

If Brandon is coming back, instead of being Johnny, he should be cast as Nick Cassidine. A Cassidine is needed on canvas. There are enough mob characters on screen now and another is not needed.
