General Hospital Spoilers: Dante’s Sympathy Runs Out for Brook Lynn After Lois’ Lies Revealed

General Hospital Spoilers reveal hearts are about to be broken all across the Quartermaine mansion as jaws fall to the floor over the news that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) are parents — and have been together for years.

Dante has no idea a child was ever born — much less has been living with him for months now. The real kicker? Brook Lynn is only half aware of the truth, too.

That’s because it seems Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) schemed to keep the identity other grandson — Giovanni ‘Gio’ Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) — a secret, even from his own mother.

Now, Dante will be furious with Brook Lynn, but Brook Lynn may end up feeling even more betrayed by Lois.

Dante Was Kept in the Dark

Dante is going to be at a loss when it comes to reconciling the way he feels about Brook Lynn knowing what she’s done. All these years have passed, and they’ve gone through some serious ups and downs.

He thought she had outgrown the terrible person she seemed to once have been, and perhaps she has, but now he’ll have to face the music of the very modern-day consequences of a decision she made for him nearly two decades ago. She at least had a choice, sort of.

Brook Lynn Gets Her Heart Broken, Too

Brook Lynn may have had the privilege of knowing she was pregnant and getting to decide what to do about it, but she had no idea that her mother betrayed her trust and inserted herself into the adoption process to “fix” it.

Brook Lynn has spent much of her life wondering whether she had a son or a daughter, where they were, if they were okay, and whether she made the right decision for that child.

Being thrust into the reality that Lois has known the answers to those questions all along and kept them from her is going to cut like a knife.

Did Lois Act Alone?

Is Lois really the only guilty part involved here though? It doesn’t seem like anyone else in Brook Lynn’s family knows the truth — not even her father, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth).

Likewise, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) may not have been Brook Lynn’s stepmother at the time, but she was Lois’ best friend — and it appears Lois told her nothing.

That tracks though, with Olivia being Dante’s mother. She’s going to be furious at her bestie, and rightfully so. But one person sticks out like a sore thumb ever since Gio came to town.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) claimed to know Gio’s adoptive mother from “the neighborhood,” but why didn’t he ever mention her or her son to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) over the years when he was funding Gio’s education?

Could it be that both of these grandparents decided to keep the truth from their kids and arrange to keep their grandson in their lives? Selfish much? How do you see this working out for the Quartmaine-Falconeri-Corinthos clan?
