It looks like this General Hospital alum might be getting ready to make some huge changes in his life.
There’s a lot of speculation suggesting actor Chad Duell, who was once best known for his role as Michael Corinthos on the hit ABC soap, could be taking the next step in his relationship with his partner, Luana Garcia.
For those who are not in the know, Luana is a flight attendant and also Chad’s baby mama. They welcomed their son last year.
And while Luana looks very happy with the little family life they created for themselves, there’s some speculation suggesting that Chad might not be ready to take the next step in his life. That’s because the timing is all wrong.
After all, he did just quit his job at General Hospital, much to the dismay of his fans. A lot of people were heartbroken that he left Chad behind even though he played the role for well over 15 years.
But now that he doesn’t have any work lined up and nor does he have a stable income handy, Michael is probably waiting until the time is right before he pops the all important question to Luana. That, or he might not be thinking about it at all.
That’s because some people have even noticed that Michael doesn’t look as happy as he used to be. It could be work stress or it could be the fact that juggling his new family life has taken a burden on him as well.
But of course if Chad does decide to make things official with his girlfriend, there’s no doubt that his General Hospital fans are going to be very happy for him. If he could only just come back to the show everything would be alright in the world, right?

We have watched Chad grow as an actor and into the role of Michael for years. He IS Michael to us! I can’t even imagine a recast and would love him to come back! I just pray that all is well in his world.
