At this point, just about everyone on the planet knows that Prince William has never given Meghan Markle an opportunity to prove herself.

In fact, it seems that even before Prince Harry started getting very serious about his future wife, the Prince of Wales just didn’t think it was a good idea for them to date, let alone even see each other. 

As hard as Meghan Markle tried to fit in with the royal family, she wasn’t even given a chance. And a lot of that probably has to do with Prince William’s attitude towards the former Hollywood actress. 

Prince William and Meghan Markle had a very rocky relationship from the very start. Even though the future king of England hasn’t really made any comments about his sister-in-law, a lot of people believe that his body language has done most of the talking for him. That’s because whenever Meghan tried to approach William and speak to him, he would do his best to ignore her.

If that weren’t enough, Prince Harry has even confessed in the past that Prince William tried to meddle in his relationship with Meghan Markle. He warned his brother not to date her, let alone marry her. 

But the Duke of Sussex did things his way anyway. Even though other royals like King Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles did their best to accept Meghan into the family, William was always very distant.

Prince William Wants Nothing To Do With Meghan Markle

Now, no one knows why Prince William had had so much animosity towards Meghan Markle, but things only got worse after she accused the royals of being a racist family in her tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey back in 2021. 

The Netflix docuseries and Harry’s memoir Spare sure didn’t help, either. At this point it’s safe to say that William may never speak to Meghan ever again, let alone stand in the same room as her.
