General Hospital spoilers say that most of the time he’s celebrated as being one of the biggest heroes in this fictional town of Port Charles. Not only that, but he’s always been Sonny’s trusted right hand man.
Clearly, you can’t go wrong with a man like Jason Morgan by your side, right? Well, that might apply to everyone except for his own family. That’s because some people have pointed out that Jason isn’t the best father out there and there are several good reasons for it, too.
During the latest episode of General Hospital, it was Alexis Davis who had to tell Danny that his mother Sam McCall was murdered at the hands of Cyrus Renault.
You would think that it would be a job for Jason, but he was too busy visiting Michael Corinthos in Germany. Does he not even have the time to talk to his son about important matters like this anymore? Where are his priorities?
Not only that, but he also seems to be more interested in raising Michael’s baby with Sasha than taking care of his own family. For a lot of General Hospital fans, this simply doesn’t make much sense anymore.
Now, as far as what’s going to happen next, remains to be seen. But at the same time, it doesn’t look like Jason is going to change his ways anytime soon. He seems to be more fixated on wanting to help those around him than those who really need him.
Hopefully he is going to realize that change is needed before it will be too late. After all, Danny does need his father more than he needs anyone else right now, seeing how his mother is dead.
It goes without saying that General Hospital fans will have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.

In Jason's defense, when he went to Germany he was trying to help another situation, and had not even heard that Cyrus was suspect in injecting Sam with digitalis. Writers had Alexis tell Danny the bad news to keep him the light of being a questionable parent. Writers past and present have been consistent in allowing Jason to be a sort of dead beat dad which I have never understood. Writers also traveled the same road with Lucky. The way both characters stories have been written neither has ever been allowed to have a true family connection. Viewers can't blame characters for the way writers have penned them.
