General Hospital Spoilers: Terrible  Situations, Spreading Gossip , Questionable Deals

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, February 7 tease terrible situations, spreading gossip, and questionable deals. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) doesn’t want to make terrible situations worse, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) wants to know who’s spreading gossip, and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) appears to have a questionable deal.

Terrible Situations

At the hospital, Lucas engages in a conversation with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), expressing the need to avoid exacerbating an already difficult situation.

He is clearly referring to Carly’s involvement with Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), a relationship he strongly disapproves of. His suspicions deepen when he and Carly visit Bobbie’s and discover Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) chatting with Jack at a nearby table.

While Carly places her trust in Brennan, Lucas remains wary, especially concerning Josslyn. Unbeknownst to Carly, Brennan is entangling Josslyn in a plan to track down Cyrus and ensure he faces justice!

Spreading Gossip

Cyrus is currently at Turning Woods, engaged in a conversation with Director Ferner (William Dixon). After being banned from GH and prohibited from interacting with patients there, it seems he might face a similar fate at Turning Woods.

Cyrus is eager to uncover who has been spreading falsehoods about him, as he is aware that he is a suspect in the digitalis murders due to the way he’s being treated.

He appears to believe that his purpose is to relieve others from their suffering, but there’s a flaw in that logic—none of the individuals he “assisted” were actually dying!

Perhaps the actions initiated by Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) have resonated with Ferner in some way.

Questionable Deals

Sidwell finds himself sharing a meal with an unexpected companion, inquiring of Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) whether Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) played a role in a recent setback.

This delay appears to be tied to a peculiar arrangement between Drew and Sidwell, which raises eyebrows. It’s possible that Sidwell, with Drew’s  capacity as a congressman, is seeking Drew’s assistance to advance his “business” interests in Port Charles.

Drew, however, seems confused by Sidwell’s mention of Sonny, which should serve as a warning sign, yet he might overlook it! It’s no secret Drew’s decision making skills have been on the fritz lately!

Health Questions

In California, Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) is seen questioning Sonny before his upcoming appointment with the doctor. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) has successfully set up a discreet specialist, located far from Port Charles, to evaluate Sonny’s AFIB. Natalia inquires if Sonny is anxious about the doctor’s potential findings.

Although he realizes he needs to take a step back, he feels there’s no one to take the reins of his mob operations. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has turned down the offer but encouraged Sonny to consider retirement;  Sonny is contemplating it, but he wonders who could possibly fill his shoes.

Alternate Methods

Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) is determined to locate Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) and bring her back to Port Charles. Despite Charlotte’s decision to remain with her father, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), Lulu still believes she can change her mind.

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) listens intently, though concern is evident on her face as she contemplates the potential risks involved.

Lulu expresses her unwavering resolve, suggesting there might be an alternative way to find her daughter. However, even if they manage to locate Charlotte, will she be willing to leave her cherished Papa behind?
