Say it isn’t so! The latest General Hospital spoilers say that actor Charles Measure has left the soap. Chris McKenna will soon take his place as the new Brennan in Port Charles. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Did Charles get fired from the show or did he leave on his own accord? That’s what many General Hospital fans want to know.
According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, a spokesperson for the soap said, “Charles Mesure opted to exit the role of Brennan. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”
In 2024, Charles admitted that he wasn’t sure he was going to get the role when he auditioned in front of the producers for the soap. He said, ”I’ll be honest about it, I thought, ‘I’m an old dog. I’m not sure if I can learn any new tricks! I’m not sure if I can adapt to the huge amount of dialogue that these fantastic actors on shows like General Hospital can learn.”
It goes without saying that there are a lot of GH fans that certainly have a lot to say about the matter.
Some even commented with, “He’s the best new character they have introduced in at least the last year and the actor really made the character. IF that is a current photo, the new guy is clearly way too young for someone who is Anna and Valentin’s age.”
Another fan wrote, “Oh for Pete’s Sake this is ridiculous, no offence to Chris but we were invested in Charles Mesure’s Brennan with Carly. Will they have the same chemistry with Chris in the role? Will have to see.”
And then there was this comment as well: “I only wish that Charles stuck around long enough to have a love scene with Carly. I enjoyed watching Charles play Brennan and loved watching him with Carly. This Brennan just won’t be the same. But I guess we’ll see how things go.”
Of course, General Hospital fans will have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.

That's it. I'm done with General Hospital. Brennan was the only good new character. You got rid of Sam, Dex, Brit, and many other favorites. You made Sasha and Cody cousins. The writing is terrible, and forcing stupid stories down our throats. Don't know what you're trying to accomplish, but it's not working.
