General Hospital fans are making it pretty clear that they are none too pleased with the latest changes.
That’s because actor Charles Measure announced that he was leaving the soap. His role has been given to actor Chris McKenna.
However, a lot of General Hospital fans are none too pleased with the move, mostly because they believed Charles had great on-screen chemistry with his co-star, Laura Wright (Carly Cortinhos).
If that weren’t enough, they also believe that Chris is an actor that might be a little too young to play Brennan. Not only that, but they are also worried about where the character and this storyline will go. Not only that, but they are also hoping that Charles will eventually return to the soap if he wasn’t fired from it.
It goes without saying that many General Hospital fans certainly do have a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some have even commented with, “What!?! Charles Mesure was perfect as Brennan. Laura’s chemistry was crazy good. I hope he’ll be gone for a short while, or Chris McKenna can replicate it with him and Laura had.”
Another critic wrote, “Truly going to miss Charles Mesure but wish him well. His sparkling eyes, smirk, chemistry with Carly, banter with Anna, fun with Joss, fighting with Val… so much potential for the character of Jack Brennan that I was hotly anticipating. Very sad news.”
And then there was this comment as well: “There obviously is more to this than meets the eye. He was an amazing addition. It was a year of great flirtation and they pulled the rug on us at the last minute. Don’t care what the show does with the character now.”
General Hospital fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next.
