In Germany, at the burn clinic in Baden-Baden where Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is receiving care, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) finds herself questioning the kindness being shown to her.
Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) made an unexpected appearance and rode to the rescue just when Carly was feeling down about being denied a visit with Michael.
They spent some quality time together in Carly’s hotel suite, enjoying room service, and Jack expressed his intention to see if he could assist with the visitation issue.
Although he wasn’t certain he could make a difference, he was determined to try, as he seemed to have a connection with someone at the clinic. Now, with a sense of longing, Carly asks, “Why are you being so nice to me?”
In Port Charles, another supportive friend steps in as Trina seeks to uplift a downcast Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup). After receiving devastating news from the orthopedic doctor at GH, who informed him that his football career was over due to his injury, Kai is understandably disheartened.
Trina expresses her desire to assist him and encourages him to consider her help—perhaps suggesting a second opinion before he resigns himself to defeat. F
ortunately, it seems that his injury is not as severe as it could be; he only has a broken arm from the significant tackle during that crucial televised game. After all, he’s not confined to a body cast—just a simple sling.
As Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) process the shocking revelation from Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), an angry Alexis is determined to take control of the situation.
They learn from Portia that Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) tragic death was not a mere accident; it was a deliberate act.
An investigation has been underway at General Hospital following the suspicious deaths of Sam, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), and another patient linked to digitalis overdoses.
Additionally, there was a close call with Michael’s life, but thanks to Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) and Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), an antidote was administered just in time. With fierce resolve, Alexis declares to Portia, “She’s MY daughter, and I will uncover the truth!”
Elsewhere, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) engages in a heartfelt conversation with her daughter, Brook Lynn Chase (Amanda Setton), who is also the daughter of Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth).
Brook Lynn appears somewhat unsettled by her mother’s probing question, which hints at a possible confession from Lois. Leaning in closer to maintain a discreet tone, Lois inquires whether Brook Lynn feels she has been coerced into doing something against her will.
However, this could be a broader issue, possibly alluding to Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) insistence on hiring Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) at Deception. Given the long-standing rivalry between Brook Lynn and Lulu, the prospect of Lulu working as Brook Lynn’s assistant creates a particularly uncomfortable dynamic.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy is in her typical assertive form, with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) quietly supporting her from behind.
Tracy directs her frustration at someone who has come with news, declaring in a commanding tone, “That’s YOUR plan.” It’s clear that Tracy is displeased with a proposal that has either been presented to her or is already in motion.
This plan likely pertains to Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and her children residing in the gatehouse, a decision facilitated by Jason. Is it possible that Tracy is reconsidering her stance on this matter and preparing to push back?
In another scene, Anna is visibly frustrated as Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) shares troubling news about Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner).
Felicia discovered Emma at a bar where Trina was with Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), watching the game during which Kai got injured, and she was drinking despite being underage. When Felicia confronted her, Emma defiantly declared that she would do whatever she pleased, dismissing any authority.
Her disrespectful behavior towards others present only added to the situation. This is likely the issue Felicia is bringing up with Anna, who inquires about her granddaughter’s latest misstep.
Jason is at the Quartermaine mansion, and he might be the one in a heated argument with Tracy, and visibly upset as he exclaims, “You got exactly what you want!”
Tracy had been keeping Michael and Willow’s children in captivity, with Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) overseeing them while Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) drove them around. Tracy accused Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) of suggesting that Willow should be kept away from the children.
However, it seems more likely that this was Tracy’s scheme rather than Monica’s. Currently, Willow and the children are at the gatehouse, but Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) is prohibited from entering the property, effectively creating a barrier between him and Michael’s wife!
