General Hospital Spoilers: Chad Duell Regrets Quitting His Job

The actor shocked fans when he announced late last year that he was leaving General Hospital. The actor was best known for his role as Michael Corinthos.

The handsome actor said, “After many incredible years with General Hospital, I’ve decided to step away from the show.”

“This wasn’t an easy decision for me, but it feels like the right time in my life. I’m beyond grateful to [Executive Producer] Frank Valentini, the cast, crew, and everyone behind the scenes who have been like family to me throughout this amazing journey.”

Chad continued, “To all the fans: thank you from the bottom of my heart for your unwavering support and for letting Michael Corinthos be a part of your lives. Your love and encouragement has meant the world to me. This isn’t a goodbye—it’s a see you later. Much love, Chad.”

However, there’s some speculation that suggests Chad might come back seeing how his character is now getting treatment in Germany and that his mother Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has also followed him there.

General Hospital Spoilers: What’s Next For Chad Duell?

Not only that, there’s also speculation on social media suggesting Chad might be feeling frustrated with the fact that he doesn’t have any other projects lined up at the moment. A lot of soap stars like to make the jump from daytime to primetime television, but that clearly hasn’t’ happened for him yet.

So far Chad himself has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
