General Hospital Spoilers: Josh Kelly Talks About Cody Bell’s Messy Love Life & The Unexpected Romance He’d Love To See Him In

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Cody Bell seems to be spiraling once again, turning to gambling, booze, and bar fistfights for fun these days!

The character’s portrayer, Josh Kelly, recently talked to Soap Opera Digest (SOD) about Cody’s life and the actor offered some interesting suggestions for Bell’s next romance.

Kelly notes that Cody reverting to his “old ways” is partly due to the whole break up with Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson). After all, Kelly reveals that he was being a good guy for the girl.

While Kelly reveals that both he and Sofia were a bit bummed when they realized that they weren’t going to be working together that much anymore, as Cody and Sasha found out they were cousins who could no longer see each other, Josh was asked about another potential love interest.

SOD brought up the fact that Cody did give Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) a ride back to town when she was escaping her coma facility center (without Cody knowing it was Lulu).

The actor was asked about the significance of the scene, and if a romance was possible between Lulu and Cody in the future. SOD also asked Kelly if he would be interested in a love triangle between Cody, his best friend, and his best friend’s ex?

Kelly responded that he’d, “… love for there to be an awkward love triangle! Alexa is great. Chloe [Lanier, Kelly’s real-life girlfriend, ex-GH Nelle Benson] and I hung out with her and her husband [Justin Bruening, ex-Jamie Martin, All My Children] at the GH Christmas party, and we all got along quite well. They’re very fun! They’re a great couple, and she’s great — she’s got great energy.”

Still, while a love triangle with Lante would be fun, Kelly made it clear that he’s still rooting for a Cody/Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) romance. Kelly notes that Cody definitely loves Tracy, and she loves him.

While Jane wants Cody to ‘fleece’ Tracy, Kelly doesn’t like the idea. He says that he wants everyone to think Cody’s conning Tracy for her money, but then be like, “No, we know exactly what this is and we just like each other more than we like you guys!”
