General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, January 24 tease determined missions, angry warnings and regretful confessions. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is on a determined mission, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) issues an angry warning and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) makes a regretful confession.
Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) finds herself at GH when she runs into Josslyn-curious, she asks what Josslyn is doing there. Josslyn meets her gaze and replies, “trying to stop a murder.”
While Trina is there to check on Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup), who is recuperating from a football injury, Josslyn is laser-focused on bringing down Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) has cautioned his niece against taking matters into her own hands in the search for Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) killer. However, Josslyn, much like her mother Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), is determined to forge her own path!
A visitor has arrived for Kai, and in his room, they might be dressed as a doctor, while Joss and Trina are just down the hall. Kai glances up, a smile spreading across his face as he eagerly asks, “What’s the good news, doc?”
He had better hope it’s Lucas or a familiar doctor, not Cyrus, the grim reaper! Yet, there’s no reason for a doctor to be wearing a mask or to administer medication through an IV when he doesn’t seem to be connected to one. Still, there’s a monitor next to his bed; is this a sign of good news, or is it a precarious situation?
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) waits in Laura’s office when Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) arrives for the meeting he requested with the mayor. Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) had spotted him at Charlie’s Pub and sensed the trouble he brought, likely influenced by her talks with Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson). Laura is far from the warm welcome one would expect for a guest of honor!
Instead, her fury radiates as she confronts him directly, delivering a cold and hostile reception. She firmly declares, “We don’t want you here in Port Charles!”
Sidwell isn’t leaving the scene anytime soon. With a smirk that drips with insincerity, he assures Laura and Anna that he’s eager to show them they’re mistaken about him.
Miraculously, all his past misdeeds and active warrants have vanished, despite Scotland Yard once considering him a person of interest—though even that label has been rescinded.
Anna, having faced him directly, recognizes the danger he represents, while Laura only needs to remember that he once held her son hostage in Africa. She’s not swayed by his tales of redemption any more than she is by Cyrus’ empty promises!
Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) has made a surprising return to his old stomping grounds at Aurora Media, where he’s attempting to pitch some sort of proposal.
However, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) stands firm, catching Drew off guard as he bluntly states that he’s confident whatever scheme Drew has in mind won’t benefit him.
With Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), Drew’s former partner, currently in Germany recuperating, it seems Drew might be considering reviving his previous arrangement with Curtis.
Curtis, however, is crystal clear in his stance—he’s not interested in what Drew is trying to offer. The shock on Drew’s face reveals everything; Curtis won’t even entertain the idea long enough for Drew to make his case!
At the gatehouse, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) attempts to uplift her daughter, who confesses her fear of having made a monumental mistake. Willow is undoubtedly grappling with guilt over the turmoil she has caused, having betrayed her husband who stood by her side through her darkest days of illness.
Is this the moment when Willow finally starts to recognize her missteps, realizing that the chance to amend her choices may have slipped away?
Or is she questioning her decision to marry Michael altogether, feeling the weight of regret for the life they built together? The pressing question remains: what actions will she take, if any, to confront this turmoil?
Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) radiates joy as she stands in the Deception Cosmetics office, a place where she recently interviewed for a position.
The situation is undeniably awkward, given that she would be stepping into the role of assistant to her long-time romantic rival, Brook Lynn Chase (Amanda Setton). Yet, Lulu’s spirit remains uncrushed; she beams with positivity and eagerly inquires, “Does that mean I’m hired?”
The air is thick with tension, but both women find themselves in need—Lulu for a job and Brook Lynn for support. Can they bridge the gap between their past conflicts and forge a new path together?
