For those who are wondering whether or not she will be sticking around in this fictional town of Port Charles on General Hospital, we’ve got news for you.
Apparently, Carly Corinthos will be headed to Germany along with her son Michael Corinthos, who is currently getting treatment overseas.
Actress Laura Wright, who plays Carly on the hit ABC soap, made it pretty clear on social media that she’s not going anywhere anytime soon, while also telling her fans, “Follow me to Germany!”
This means that Carly will most likely have scenes while she’s in Germany, prompting speculation that her son Michael Corinthos might also get recast seeing how actor Chad Duell has left the role. Exciting times ahead, indeed!
It goes without saying that the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “I would cry if you left. You’re my favorite!! So many misleading posts out there. Always look forward to seeing you on the screen. It makes my day so much brighter. So much talent and beauty. Thanks for always sharing with fans.”
Another fan wrote, “You are General Hospital!! Your acting has always been on point but I so look forward to those intense scenes where you show so much emotion you are perfect!!”
“I’m so curious what completely chaotic mess is going to pull Carly in? Will she find Spencer? Will she find Victor? Will she get sucked into Valentin’s nonsense?”
And then there’s this comment as well: “I hope Carly is in Germany just long enough to have an unexpected tryst with Jack. I won’t even claim he’s stalking her.”
