Wearing sexy fishnets and giving the camera their best looks, Michelle captioned her photo with “NYC” and the heart emoji. Talk about a handsome looking couple, right? 

Earlier in the month, Steve announced his engagement to Michelle, but it didn’t go down too well. That’s because some media outlets out there couldn’t help but remind Steve of his very painful past.

For example, Page Six wrote a headline stating, “‘General Hospital’ star Steve Burton engaged to Michelle Lundstrom after divorcing wife who got pregnant by another man.”

Of course, they were referring to Steve’s ex-wife Sheree Burton, who announced her pregnancy via social media back in 2022.

General Hospital News: What’s Next For Steve And Michelle?

Of course, they were referring to Steve’s ex-wife Sheree Burton, who announced her pregnancy via social media back in 2022. 

If that weren’t enough, trolls also came out in full force for Michelle back in 2024. 

The actor has thankfully found love again, but because of all the online bullying that Sheree had endured and all of the speculation about his own personal life, Steve wants to make sure that he doesn’t make the same mistake twice.

That’s why he’s protecting Michelle and their relationship by keeping it out of the public eye for as much as possible. In fact, they rarely even write about one another on social media.

He doesn’t want Michelle to deal with all the online drama that comes with dating a huge soap star like himself. He’s got enough drama on his hands in the fictional town of Port Charles that he plays in.
