Because some of our favorite daytime television stars love to post on social media almost all the time, we often get worried when we don’t hear from them for a very long time.
Of course, this time around we are talking about Days of Our Lives actor Brandon Barash. Last year didn’t end very well for Brandon and it seems like this year isn’t any better.
Back in October, it was announced that Brandon was fired from the Peacock soap. He was best known for his role as Stefan DiMera for the past several years now.
Speaking to Soaps.com in an interview, Brandon said that he was informed that he was let go from the soap seven months ago. As many DOOL fans are already aware of, the soap films six months ahead. His last episode is set to air on October 28th.
Brandon said that when he got that dreaded phone call, it did feel like a gut punch to the stomach.
He said, “I would have to be able to trust them, and I’ve lost that. I’ve lost that ability to trust that team, quite frankly.”
Fast-forward several month later and it doesn’t appear as though Brandon has any work lined up in either daytime television or primetime. While there was some speculation suggesting he was going to move to The Bold and the Beautiful or go back to Days of Our Lives, that simply hasn’t happened.
Not only that, but Brandon and his family also live in the Los Angeles County area. A lot of people have been concerned about his whereabouts, seeing how many stars lost their homes in the wildfires. So far Brandon himself has not made any comments about the matter at all.

I think it's sad that you get rid of good actors and actresses. After Ari Zucker ,was fired, I didn't want to even watch Dool s anymore.. I have watched it ever since it first aired. Then you get rid of Brandon Barish, Marcie Miller, Eric Vaughn, these are people who make the show worth watching.
Get with the program, before you lose a lot more viewers.
