She made Bill and Poppy believe that they were Luna’s parents. Unless an even more unbelievable news event occurs, Park’s character will remain Luna’s mom.

But Bill isn’t her father, and as Li has proven through the use of a stored liver, Tom Starr (Clint Howard) doesn’t hold that distinction either. Now, notorious philanderer Jack Finnegan (Ted King) is apparently Luna’s father.

Writing letters to Bill was a long shot. For all Luna knew, Bill might never open or read one.

But he read the first and didn’t appear moved. However, his first visit to the prison visitor’s room sparked a return appearance. It was then that Bill fell for what still seems like a setup.

Luna seemed to have either provoked attacks by inmates, which caused her to be beaten, or she worked with her fellow prisoners to arrange the physical attacks. It might be possible that she was beaten without a setup. But audience members will continue to guess at the truth until they are presented with it.

Bill bought into Luna’s assertion that her perceived bad childhood made her simpatico with his backstory. That topic hasn’t been referenced in years, with longtime viewers recalling Bill’s father, Bill Spencer Senior (Jim Storm). His mother, Marion Bradley Spencer, has never been seen and, therefore, never portrayed by an actor.

Part of her demented condition includes Luna being consistently deceptive. She is a narcissist and is operating on an even more extreme survival instinct than before she was arrested.

Luna never wants to return to prison. His new obsession with Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) puts him and his girlfriend, Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace), in danger.

The above points to Katie’s reentry into Bill’s life, with the seeming possibility that this one-time couple will eventually reunite after this storyline reaches its eventual climax.
