It looks like John Fetterman was sending quite the direct message with his choice of outerwear at Donald Trump’s inauguration and it has nothing to do with designer labels, either.

That’s because the Pennsylvania-based Democrat has turned a lot of heads for simply wearing a hoodie and shorts on what is a very important day not only for Donald Trump, but the entire country as well.

Some people think that Fetterman was simply trying to make a point and that it wasn’t too cold to hold the ceremony outdoors. Instead, all of those Donald Trump death threats and security risks might have been true after all.

One critic took to social media to write: “He’s just trying to prove that it’s not too cold out there.”

“Perhaps the only one in the building is truthful. I used to think we should always honor the office, not the person, but the offices in Congress are so poisoned that the Senator’s dress is at least honest.”

Another critic wrote, “Wait, doesn’t he know it’s freezing outside? Maybe he changed into his signature garb when he got there, just to make some sort of a statement?”

“I have a feeling as though he’s probably trying to tell us that there was no need to have the inauguration indoors. This has nothing to do with the cold weather but instead it was all about the possible threats that were made towards Donald Trump.”

But then again there was this comment as well: “Fetterman’s outfit is a perfect example of the disrespect the left has for traditional American values. He’s a senator, not a college student on spring break. You’d think he’d dress professionally for such an event.”
