Kamala Harris and Doug Emhoff are reportedly separating, with Harris returning to California and Emhoff renting a $20,000-per-month New York City apartment, amid rumors of an alleged affair with a campaign staffer.
But then again, this isn’t the first time that Kamala and Doug have made headlines for their supposed divorce plans.
That’s mostly because the couple has been dealing with a lot of stress behind the scenes ever since Kamala lost the presidential election to Donald Trump.
And here everyone probably thought that it would be Donald and his wife that would be headed towards splitsville, right?
Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “Shocking. And I guess they’re not worried about enough steaks in the freezer. Most men when they separate end up in a studio apt. in a crappy part of town, and the kids are his. Child support? Net worth? Maybe Pelosi is their stock advisor.”

But even with that said, Kamala and Doug are still making public appearances together and from the outside in, it looks like Doug is being a very supportive spouse, despite everything that his wife is going through.
