When it comes to Donald Trump, he’s been everywhere these last two months. In fact, it seems like a day doesn’t go by that the world doesn’t hear from him at least several times a day.
And while there’s no doubt that there are a lot of people who love Trump as much as they loathe him, there are also plenty of strange things about him that some people have just simply ignored these last several weeks.
As many readers are aware of by now, President Trump says he is prepared to use economic pressure to force Canada to become part of the United States.
In fact, the President-Elect has made waves by confirming his desire to make Canada the next U.S. state, citing America’s $200 billion annual support and military backing as reasons for the move.
Also, President Trump just announced that he will place massive tariffs on Denmark if they don’t immediately relinquish all control of Greenland.
He said, “We need Greenland for national security purposes.”
Per the latest reports, Denmark has announced a large boost in defense spending after Trump said Greenland was an “absolute necessity” for the US. The country said the package was in the “double-digit billion amount,” equal to about $1.5B USD.
If that weren’t enough, mainstream media outlet The Hill is calling for an insurrection, demanding that Congress use the 14th Amendment to block Donald Trump from taking office in January.
Apparently, they claim Congress has the authority to override the Electoral College and “restore power to democracy.” This is incorrect.
emocratic Rep. Jamie Raskin has previously stated that Congress would use the 14th Amendment to stop Trump on January 6, even if it led to “civil war conditions.”
