In the hospital’s ICU, Portia engages in a conversation with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) regarding the upcoming medical decisions for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
After a heartfelt discussion with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), Willow has just invited Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to join her outside Michael’s room. It seems that Willow may be reconsidering her previous position on using their children as leverage.
Could this indicate that she is open to the idea of Michael receiving treatment from the doctors associated with the Boronsky Clinic? Is there a possibility for him to find a solution at their new facility in Germany?
Elsewhere, Jordan finds herself in a restaurant chatting with Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) when they unexpectedly run into Cody Bell (Josh Swickard).
Tensions rise as it seems a fight is brewing between the two men. Previously, Cody had taken a swing at Drew at the Brown Dog Bar and drunkenly revealed details about Drew’s entanglements with both Willow and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
Although Jordan is aware of Drew’s affair with Willow, she has refrained from discussing it with him; still, she firmly warns Cody, “don’t even think about it.” It’s clear she wants to prevent another confrontation and avoid Cody’s reckless talk, but she’s ready to confront Drew about his actions herself!
At the Deception Cosmetics headquarters, Brook Lynn appears puzzled as she inquires whether someone is applying for a position at Deception.
Her expression reveals a mix of surprise and disbelief at the unexpected candidate. It’s clear that this is someone familiar to her, making the application request all the more shocking.
Will she hand over an application for them to complete, or is this a key role that requires an immediate interview? It seems like an intriguing day is unfolding at the Deception office!
At the Jerome Art Gallery, Ava Jerome (Maura West) is determined to take action. She confides in Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) that she needs to secure a lawyer who will support her cause.
However, Ric seems to have a different approach in mind, disagreeing with her methods. Ava is juggling two pressing issues: her ongoing battle for sole custody of her daughter, Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola), and her desire to reclaim her funds from the Cassadines. It appears that these two matters may be interconnected.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Chase is grappling with the realities of marrying into this chaotic family as he continues his heated exchange with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).
Following an emotional conversation with Willow, he confronted Tracy about keeping Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko) away from their mother. Despite having no authority in the situation, Tracy stubbornly refuses to return the children.
Chase firmly points out that her actions are only exacerbating the situation, prompting Tracy to demand that he leave. It seems Tracy is heading for some serious trouble, potentially of a legal nature!
Carly seems to still be at the hospital with Willow while Portia is having a conversation with her. Since Willow invited Carly, there’s no problem-Carly might be recommending a clinic in Germany, where the doctors from the Boronsky Clinic in Russia are now practicing, suggesting she has a superior option.
It appears that Michael may need to be moved to a long-term burn unit that offers more advanced care than what General Hospital can provide. Additionally, there’s the ongoing concern of a so far suspected but unproven murderer lurking around GH, despite Portia’s efforts to keep him out of the hospital!
It seems that Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) might be the one vying for a position at Deception Cosmetics, as she vows to keep her behavior in check! It’s no surprise that Brook Lynn was caught off guard! Despite their efforts to move past their complicated history, Lulu and Brook Lynn are set to clash.
Cody had mentioned to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) during their conversation about the past that Lulu and Brook Lynn share many similarities!
While it can be beneficial when two people can empathize with one another, at times it can feel like lighting a fuse on a stick of dynamite, leading to plenty of fireworks.
