The last time that Michelle was seen with Barack Obama was in December when the two supposedly had a date night in Hollywood. But then again, they could have been visiting their two daughters, Malia and Sasha, who also live in the Los Angeles area.

Michelle’s behavior has certainly been raising a lot of eyebrows lately. She didn’t attend Jimmy Carter’s funeral earlier this month and now it’s being reported that she won’t attend Donald Trump’s inauguration.

This, despite the fact that her husband is going to be there along with Bill and Hillary Clinton and even George and Laura Bush.

So, if Barack can make it to the inauguration along with everyone else, many people can’t help but wonder why Michelle is sitting this one out. Does she really hate the President-Elect that much? Or is there another reason why she has suddenly been keeping her distance away from everyone.

What’s Next For The Obamas?

Whatever the case may be, it hasn’t stopped people from speculating about the state of her marriage. 

While some people think that this has to do more with Michelle not wanting to be around Donald Trump, others have pointed out that if Hillary Clinton can be in the same room as Trump, than Michelle Obama certainly can, too. 

Some have even taken to social media to write comments such as, “I think the Obamas live separate lives and are headed for divorce.”

Another critic wrote, “Even if that’s true it wouldn’t explain why they couldn’t attend two very significant public events. Lots of couples on the rocks can suck it up and plaster on a polite smile for a few hours.”

Now, whether or not Michelle Obama does pull the plug on their marriage remains to be seen but so far she has not made any comments about the matter.
