Is this the beginning of a mass exodus? That’s what a lot of people can’t help but wonder as there’s a new report that suggests Kanye West might be the latest celebrity to leave America for good.

But for the rapper, his decision to leave his home country behind has nothing to do with Donald Trump becoming president or the ‘Diddy’ files for that matter.

Instead, Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband simply feels unsafe in America. That’s mostly because of his mounting legal troubles and all of the attention that he gets from the paparazzi. Kanye is looking at alternative places to call home, including Japan.

The only problem of course is that his four children still live in California full-time with their mother, Kim Kardashain. If Kanye were to live in Japan, he would have a hard time seeing his kids on a regular basis.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “They are hounded when they are in the United States, and they never feel truly safe. The United States is the only country that Kanye is in where he is constantly getting into scuffles that get him in trouble.”

“He is just sick of people invading his space, and when they are abroad, this doesn’t happen. People respect him more.”

Celeb News: What’s Next For Kanye West?

Now, as far as whether or not Kanye West will remain in Japan remains to be seen but so far it seems like he’s in love with the country. 

The insider added, “In Japan he has a different level of peace of mind, which obviously leads to being able to make really good music.”

“Because your mind is at ease. Your mind is at rest. You’re not paranoid about anything.”

So far Kanye West himself has not made any comments about the matter yet.
