Over the weekend, both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were on hand to survey the wildfires in Los Angeles County. However, there are some critics out there who think that this was nothing more than performative charity. 

That’s because some people allege that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex brought a camera crew with them just so they could document the entire moment.

Well, if that weren’t enough, some people are also raising their eyebrows over the fact that Harry and Meghan took a smiling group photo during a tragedy in which lives were lost. Some are even tailgating parties and are calling Harry and Meghan opportunists and parasites while they are at it.

Many have taken to social media to comment on the matter with, “It’s actually disgusting. There are people around them right now losing everything & people are dying yet here we have Meghan & Harry using that to get there PR.”

“They literally did nothing, not even donated a thing, just walked in got photos & left.”

Another critic wrote, “This picture is one of the most disgusting things they could have done, all of them. Posing as if they’ve just attended some conference or other. Tone deaf, a lot of them. Another #Markled debacle.”

And then there was this comment as well: “She is treating this like there is something to celebrate. Well, no there is not, 16 people have died so far, and that number is rising and many, many people have lost their homes. Go home you pair of imbeciles and let these good folk get on with what they need to do.”
